I've been looking on the web and asking in newsgroups for this for about

2 months, but without any luck :-(

Though it should't be too difficult:

1. popup a (captionless) form with a 3*3 grid in it

2. attach the mouse the lower-right corner

3. in onresize of the form resize the grid

4. in onmouseup, release the form and create the table

Now I'm ready to implement this feature,

and I re-think the problem again, ..

Ok, I admit that's fancy,...

... but is it usefull ?

Why set only 2 parameters of a table in such a fancy way

and let the user struggle with the right mouse button

or menus, to set the other 10..20 parameters of a table ;-)

So for now I've choosen to make a "table-dialog",

in which the user can set intuitively all relevant parameters

in just 1 simple dialog-form.

The parameters which are relevant in my case are

- number of rows

- number of columns

- background color

- header row background color

- border color

- border width

- page repeat of header row

- table align

- table width

just my 2 Eurocents,
