From experiences, I found Anders Melander's TGifImage causing problems with

the threading. If two applications using the gif component are running

simultaneously with animation set, the thread will not function correctly

and cause rve to hang especially under Window ME. The animation

should not be set if there are two applications running. I wonder if

any rv users here experienced the same thing.

The Indy's gif animation never gave me any problem. The gif image can also

be embedded into rve using a different approach.
